We create the space and structures that bring together city leaders and democracy building organizations to better understand the DEMOCRACY ecosystem, elevate powerful existing work, uplift best practices in the field, and celebrate the diversity of leaders organizing and building a polycentric democracy.

Currently based out of the SNF Agora Institute at Johns Hopkins University, Democracy Cities serves as an effective ecosystem network. We hope to provide a platform for mutual aid between all those doing work to build democracy with city governments.
